In the voice of the wind and the sound of clouds scudding 'cross the sky.
The chirruping of crickets the steady pulse
of dark meadow life.
A yipping howl coyote hunting the pack's answering cries.
The whine of the mosquito homing in on a breath seeking life for her unborn.
A brief quiet flapping as the bat takes a meal three lives become one.
The scurry in the grass
a field mouse picnic inter
